John B. Bartling : Contact John

Mr. Bartling is a co-founder and Managing Director of  AllBridge.  He also serves as AllBridge’s Chief Investment Officer and serves on its Board of Managers and Investment Committee. Mr. Bartling was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Walden Residential Properties and owner of WMC Management Company, a privately held real estate management company with over 3,000 employees and clients including Olympus Real Estate Partners, LLC, and Arnold Palmer Golf Management, LLC (“APGM”), Walden Residential, and Hyphen Solutions, L.P. 

Prior to joining Walden Residential, Mr. Bartling served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lexford Residential Trust, Inc. (NYSE: LFT), a publicly held multifamily REIT.  Before joining LFT, Mr. Bartling served as Director of the Real Estate Products Group of Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”).  Prior to joining CSFB, Mr. Bartling served as an Executive Vice President of NHP Incorporated.  Mr. Bartling’s previous professional experience also includes Trammel Crow Residential, as a Development Principal, and Mellon Bank, NA as a Vice President of the Commercial Mortgage Banking Group. 

Mr. Bartling has served on the Executive Council and as Chairman of the Finance Committee for the National Multi Housing Council (“NMHC”), as well as on the Board of the Multi-family Committee of the National Association of Home Builders.  Mr. Bartling is the co-founder of Caring Partners for Kids, awarded the 2004 Community Service Award by Multifamily Executive. Mr. Bartling has served on the Board of Directors of APGM, RockResorts and the Children’s Hospital Research for Ohio State University. Mr. Bartling currently serves on the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies:  Leadership Forum on Pension Fund and Endowment Investments in Domestic Emerging Markets, NMHC Board of Directors, and The Real Estate Round Table.

Mr. Bartling received a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.


Lawrence A. Brown : Contact Larry

Mr. Brown is a co-founder and Managing Director of AllBridge.  He also serves as AllBridge’s Chief Operating Officer and serves on its Board of Managers and Investment Committee.

Mr. Brown started Deutsche Bank Mortgage Capital, L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, (“DBMC”) in May 1999 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer.  While at DBMC, he oversaw more than $23 billion in public and private securitized transactions as well as the origination of over 750 loans totaling approximately $9 billion.  Prior to the formation of DBMC, Mr. Brown served as President of WMF Capital Corp. (“WMF CC”), where he oversaw all commercial real estate finance and capital markets activities of the company. Before joining WMF CC, he was the Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate Finance at First Union National Bank (“FUNB”) (now known as Wachovia Corporation), overseeing the origination and subsequent distribution of commercial mortgage-backed securities including over $6.5 billion in public/private securitized transactions. 

Prior to joining FUNB, he was a Senior Vice President in the Real Estate Finance Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”) supervising the negotiation, documentation, and closing of more than $1.5 billion of securitized commercial mortgage transactions.  Before joining DLJ, Mr. Brown was an associate at the law firms of Baker & McKenzie and Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander & Ferdon, where he specialized in real estate banking and real estate finance law. 

Mr. Brown serves on the Board of Advisors for AvidXchange (a provider of paperless invoice management and procurement solutions to the real estate industry), the Board of South Park Youth Association, and as Vice-President of the Charlotte-Mecklenberg Girls’ Fast Pitch Softball Association.

Mr. Brown graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University and earned his law degree from Georgetown University School of Law.


Cory M. Olson : Contact Cory

Mr. Olson is a co-founder and Managing Director of Finance and Capital Markets of AllBridge.  He also serves on its Board of Managers and Investment Committee.

Mr. Olson was formerly Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Dean Foods Company, one of the leading food and beverage companies in the United States (NYSE:  DF, S&P 500, Fortune 250).  In addition to participating on the executive management committee, his responsibilities included oversight for debt and equity capital markets, financings, investor relations, risk management and cash management activities.  Over the past seven years Mr. Olson was responsible for repurchasing almost $2 billion in Dean Foods common stock and was the primary contact for over a dozen sell-side equity analysts and over one hundred buy-side investors.  During his tenure at Dean Foods he was responsible for financing in excess of 50 acquisitions totaling more than $4 billion in purchase price.  Mr. Olson’s 2001 acquisition financing of Dean Foods was awarded the “U.S. Leveraged Loan of the Year” by the International Financial Review and represented the single largest Term Loan B that had been issued to that date in the U.S.

Prior to joining Dean Foods, Mr. Olson served as a Managing Director of Bank One Capital Markets.  He worked in various market segments including Real Estate Finance, Mid-Corporate Banking and Large Corporate Banking in various capacities including relationship management, credit underwriting and sales and trading.  Prior to joining Bank One Capital Markets, Mr. Olson was a Product Management Officer for Gainer Bank Corporation, a regional banking firm. His duties included developing and marketing new treasury management services and associated technologies.

Mr. Olson holds a Bachelor in Liberal Arts from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
